Where Are We?
Kurri Kurri and Weston are part of the City of Cessnock, the heart of the winemaking country of Australia’s famous Hunter Valley. The district was once famous for its many coalmines, among them some of the largest in the world. Today the district is home to the Norsk Hydro Aluminium smelter, as well as a number of other light industries. It provides education for the wine industry through its technical college, and also has large primary and secondary schools.
Mulbring and Mount Vincent, the rural districts of the parish, were settled by Europeans from the 1820′s. The area is now home to many folk seeking a rural style of living, as well as the continuing agricultural properties.

St Mary the Virgin Weston is located in First Street Weston, between Station and Kline Streets, nearby the Weston Shopping Centre.
Christ Church Mount Vincent is located in Mt Vincent Rd, just south of the turnoff to Mulbring Village. When travelling along Leggetts Drive [Lake Road], watch for directional signs indicating Sandy Creek Road – Mt Vincent Rd is the opposite leg of the intersection. [Note that there is no access from the Mulbring direction on Mt Vincent Rd due to a collapsed bridge].
